Like any summer camp, meal times were filled with noise, singing and spills, but at this camp, many siblings were sharing their first meals together since being placed into foster care...

In California, there are 54,302 children who have siblings in foster care. Only about 1/3 are placed with some of their siblings and over 6,000 are separated from all their siblings. Camp Connect California provides an opportunity for siblings separated by out-of-home care to reconnect for a unique camping experience where lifetime memories are created.
